Airport transfer

The best ways to transfer to & from the airport is to either hire a car or take a shuttle bus/ car (private availble). A hire car is often the cheapest way, for example a Ford Focus sized car will cost around £200 for a week compared to a return trip with a bus transfer company costing around £472 for 4 people, and if you are looking to splash out for a special occasion a helicopter may not be as expensive as you think! (Please note - it is advised to hire cars from the Swiss side of Geneva airport to allow access to the Swiss motorway which is the quickest route).

Travelling up to Arc 2000, unloading and parking

The village of Arc 2000 is an easy drive, weather permitting, and there are plenty of car parks ranging from close covered or out door parking at 72/ 48 Euros a week, to free parking 2.6 miles down the mountain where you can go after unloading in front of the building and catch the free shuttle bus back up to the apartment. Or you could park in Bourg St Maurice and get the Funicular & shuttle bus to the apartment (free if you purchase your ski pass first).

Drop off/ un-load at the apartment
In terms of un-loading there is a small 'drop off' car park at the front of the building, but you can't leave the car there as it will be TOWED AWAY.

Pay parking
There is an outdoor car park right next door and on the drive to the apartment which will cost about 48 Euros a week, and covered parking under the main square which will cost about 70 Euros a week. Both have hourly/ daily rates.

Free parking

St Esprit - The car park is on route, 2.6 miles before you get to Arc 2000. Once you have passed Arc 1600 and have driven for a few miles, the first chair lift you pass on your right (next to the road) is called 'Comborcierre' and has a free car park just past it on the right called 'Pre St Esprit', its next to a restaurant and has a bus stop to get on the shuttle bus up to Arc 1950/ 2000. PLEASE CHECK SHUTTLE BUS OPERATING TIMES BEFORE PARKING!
